Selecting Distinctive SOUTH AFRICAN Wines South African wines are not mainstream here in the US. Although they are getting a lot more press, the general US wine enthuisiast is not aware or may not have tried a South African wine. Therefore we realize that it is imperative that the enthuisiast's first impressions is a positive & lasting experience. Since we cannot control the quality of the wines that other wine importer's bring in & put on the shelf, we can. We have gone to great pains to bring in quality and value wines that are very suitable for the American wine enthuisiast's palate.

Look for the Seal of Quality When the wine enthuisiast tries any of the South African wines we import, we want to make sure their experience is a positive one and that they remember South Africa and the Cape of Good Hope Wine Company as a reliable source for quality South African wines. To this end we have designed and registered a tradmark - see above - that all the South African wines we import carry. This is to set our wines aside from other South African wines, so that they are more easily identifiable and to find among all the wines available in a wine store or restaurant.
