Cape of Good Hope Wine Co. began importing South African wines for over 5 years and understand what it takes to establish an unknown region and brands of wine. The company's focus has and will continue to focus on boutique style wines, wines that that impassioned winemakers put their personality into their creations. Winemakers that do not follow formulas, nor do they create mass quantities of wines. As an importer, we look for wines that reflect the winemaker's passions and that meet our standards of quality and value.

As wine enthusiasts continue to explore wines from around the world, so will we as a company provide wines feom other regions around the world that are not the "run of the mill" for enthusiasts to discover and enjoy.

Other services we provide:

Import Agent Services - we have all the licenses and business set-up to offer complete Import and Wholesale Agent services to provide a foreign vineyard and companies the ability to run an importation and wholesale business without having to obtain all the various licenses and infrastructure to run your business in the most cost effective way.
Private Labelling - we can provide Private Labeling services for wines we import more cost effectively than doing private labeling locally here in the US for retailers. We also can provide this service for a minimum order of a pallet of wine (56 to 60 cases). As part of the service we will also warehouse the wines.
Private Sourcing - we are able to source wines that are not available inyour local market from any vineyard in the USA, other wine importers or foreign vineyards around the world. As part of the service we will also warehouse the wines.
Distribution of Wines - The Cape of Good Hope Wine Company distributes wines in California and Arizona
Mail Ordering Wines - The Cape of Good Hope Wine Co. has a license which allows us to sell via Mail Order the wines we import from our warehouse in Sonoma, California.

The famous Cape of Good Hope triangular stamps (also known as "Cape Triangles") are unique in stamp history and are highly sought after by collectors of classical stamps. Some of the Cape Triangles are very rare and expensive, depending on grade and condition.

The former colony at the Cape of Good Hope was established by the Dutch East India Company in 1652, and was intended to serve as a way station for ships picking up water and supplies for onward travel to India and the Orient. Britain seized the colony from the Dutch in 1806 and eventually granted it limited self-government on 30 June 1853.
