Lodigiani MALVASIA 2006 (Vivace)
(mah-vah-zeé-ah)
This is a slightly sparkling wine, light straw yellow in color. The bouquet is fruity and a bit aromatic with notes of acacia flowers and bitter almond. This wine is approachable, not complicated because it is light, nevertheless it has a strong personality given the peculiar aromatic character of its vine. Its modest alcohol content and its lively acidity make it crisp and pleasant. It is dry with a fine taste. "Vivace" - Effervescent
Suggested food: The sparkling dry Malvasia is best served with any typical appetizers of this region based on salami. It can also be served with light first courses, fried vegetables and savory cakes.
