Black Zeppelin 2005

74% Syrah, 16% Alicante Bouschet, 10% Cabernet
Red Zeppelin's flag ship wine. Intense, brooding and filled with black fruits and spices; aged in one year old Seguin Moreau barrels for twenty months and bottled unfiltered, this wine has won four gold medals in competition, and was rated 94 points & awarded the best blended red at the California State Fair.

Red Zeppelin Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
Paso Robles
Made form low-yielding vineyards on the hilly western side of the appellation. aged in French Oak and blended with small amounts of Merlot, Syrah and Petitie Sirah for complexity.

We have been making our most famous wine from this remote Monterey County vineyard for several years now, and this is the best vintage so far; deep spicy red cherry and plum fruit with mineral and cedar notes and an extremely long finish.

This un-oaked chardonnay is round and crisp showing citrus and stone fruit with hints of mineral. Mouthfilling due the high extract and ripeness of the vintage.

Red Zeppelin Riesling 2007

91% Riesling, 9% Gewurztraminer
Highly aromatic and acidic, with just a hint of petrol but very floral and nominally off-dry. The wine hasan excellent balance for dry and sweet palates alike. A small amount of Gewurztraminer was blended in for additional complexity.

Pin Zeppelin - Dry Rosè
Paso Robles
45 % Grenache, 42% Syrah, 7% Cinsault, 5% Mourvedre, 1% Tenturier
A dry Rosé. The Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvedre were made as Blancs and then blended with the 24 hour macerated Syrah; the Tenturier was added before bottling. Essentially a white wine in structure, it is both fruity and dry, showing perfumed cherry fruit and lemon-mineral flavors.
